Nakamanda Resort & Spa first opened its doors to guests in 2004. A proud moment for the owner Mr Weera Purinrak who began the project three years previously with a vision to create a resort that guests could call home on the exotic shores of Krabi. Mr Purinrak has always had a deep passion for the water, as a youth would take frequent excursions on the sea to tropical destinations such as Phi Phi Island before the tourist crowds arrived. Being fortunate to travel extensively overseas during his life, he also gained a keen interest in hotels, architecture and design. This inspired him to create a resort of his own overlooking the sea, drawing together the elements and expectations that he personally values in a hotel. The result is a stylish boutique resort in a beautiful seafront setting, with a focus on design details and most importantly the guest-centric personal service.
